Freedom of Education - The socially accepted right which should be bestowed on to anyone young or old to study what they choose with out the fear of repercussions from others.

"“If we only learn in Burmese, we will forget our cultural languages.”Burma, being a diverse country struggles with the policy of only learning the Burmese language, restricting them, leaving them with only basic knowledge.

The language instruction policy is a key way to limit a students ability to advance in life because as this is commonly known, English is the most important language on an international level, and this policy is a way to ensure that by making students only know one language, that their progression in like is limited.
It Gets Worse!With enrolments in secondary secondary school being hard enough, (low funding, no voiced opinions), when it comes time to going to post secondary, based on the scores of you year end exams, the government then chooses for you what you can study. No input or say is allowed.

When students decided to show agency against the social injustice they faced, instead of putting them on trial like in Inherit the Wind, universities were shut down for years at a time. Examples being in 1988 and 1996 where the State Peace and Development Council (SPDC), the government at the time, were responsible of the closing of the institutions on a national scale for an accumulated total of five years.
